You may have read the terms bare rooted, nude or deciduous when referring to ornamental or fruit trees this season. What do they mean?
Deciduous trees lose their leaves in autumn or winter and are left nude or bare. Of course once spring arrives they come into leaf and fruit or flowers appear over summer.
Millthorpe Garden Nursery stocks 100's of bare rooted or deciduous ornamental and fruit trees each year and we are happy to take orders. Our main suppliers are Flemings and some growers in northern Victoria.
You are welcome to call and pick up a free Flemings guide to deciduous trees.
